Discover all that Cornwall has to offer on this four-night adventure. Visit atmospheric St Michael’s Mount, tour a cider orchard and take a scenic train journey along the north Cornwall coast to the beauty spot of St Ives.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cornwall
Make your own way to Marazion. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Suggested overnight hotel: GoDolpin Arms, Marazion

Day 2: Cornwall
This morning after breakfast, walk the short distance to Saint Michael’s Mount, a tidal island linked by a man-made causeway to Marazion. St Michael’s Mount is the Cornish equivalent to Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy France and is home to a castle and chapel which you will have entrance to today.

Next, transfer to PK Porthcurno, a museum located on the Cornish coast where many submarine telegraph cables came ashore. Enjoy entrance to the museum and enjoy the large photograph collection here as well as the underground World War 2 tunnels.

Then, walk around 15 minutes down to the coast and enjoy a visit to the Minack Theatre, an open-air amphitheatre constructed jutting over the sea. Return by car back to your hotel.

Optional: Enjoy a show tonight at the atmospheric Minack Theatre (dependent on season and availability).

Day 3: Cornwall
Enjoy the morning at leisure to further explore Marazion and the hotel.

This afternoon, transfer to Healey’s Cider Farm where you will enjoy a fully-guided tour including a tractor ride through the apple orchards. End your tour with a pint of cider (or tea or coffee). Return to your hotel.

Day 4: Cornwall
After breakfast, transfer by car to Hayle where you will pick up your local train which will take you on a once-in-a-lifetime journey alongside the north Cornwall coast, offering spectacular waterscapes. Arrive in St Ives where you will enjoy entrance to the Tate St Ives art gallery and a visit to the Leach pottery Museum. Enjoy some time in St Ives to explore independently before returning by car back to your hotel.

NB: for guests who select the car hire option or self-drive option, we have included the cost of a return train ticket in the cost of your package so you can return to your car in Hayle

Day 5: Depart Cornwall
After breakfast, continue your journey independently.
