Day 1: Arrive Lisbon
Upon arriving in Lisbon, you’ll be met and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.

Day 2: Lisbon
Get ready to experience Lisbon like a local, with a local. During your personalised tour, you will enjoy the beauty of Lisbon, see some hidden gems as well as the most popular highlights.
Your experience starts at the famous Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara viewpoint. Here you will enjoy the breath-taking sights while listening to unique local stories from your local guide, learning how the city has changed over time and about the great mysteries and insights of the notorious 1755 earthquake. Make your way past the beautiful Carmo church and marvel at the San Roque golden chapel. Along the way, you will stop at a small family-run business for local bites. Enjoy an authentic snack of cheese and chorizo paired with a glass of local wine. Then visit the oldest Ginjinha Bar in Lisbon to try out the famous sour cherry liquor. Our local guides will share their knowledge and stories about everything, from the Bairo Alto and Alfama neighbourhoods, important churches and so much more!
This evening on your Old Lisbon Night of Fado you will experience the emotion of Fado, the evocative, haunting and traditional Portuguese music. You will meet with a local Fado singer and experience the magic of Portuguese Fado, a form of music listed by UNESCO as of “World Intangible Cultural Heritage.” An important part of everyday life in Lisbon, you will see that there is no better way to learn about Portuguese culture. You will go to some typical Fado houses, where Fadistas have earned their living for decades. You can wander the alleys and squares around Praca Martim Moniz, a multicultural part of Lisbon that takes you away from the touristy places. Here you will discover charming local taverns that were instrumental in the history of Fado culture. Your evening experience also includes a delicious traditional dinner as well as the enchanting Fado performances.

Day 3: The Algarve
Today you will travel to Faro by train. Enjoy this short scenic journey in your 2nd class seat.
Upon arrival at Faro, you will be met by your driver for your private transfer to your hotel in Tavira.

Day 4: The Algarve
Today enjoy a cycling tour on a comfortable e-bike through picturesque small villages and amazing landscapes to discover the beauty of the rural Algarve.
Your experience will start with a gentle ride among the orange groves, cork and almond trees of the Silves countryside. Passing through small white-washed villages you will stop at Messines Food Market where you will then shop for your picnic in the countryside.
This delicious picnic, made of local products and wines will then be enjoyed in the spectacular nature of the “Barrocal”. If the weather is bad, your picnic will be replaced with lunch at a local tavern followed by a visit to the cosy village of Messines.
On the way back you will be shown an amazing hidden lake, the perfect place to admire this hidden and beautiful side of the Algarve.

Day 5: The Algarve
Enjoy a day at leisure either relaxing by the pool at your hotel or visiting one of many beautiful local beaches.

Day 6: The Algarve
This morning you will be at one with nature with this environmentally-friendly kayaking experience where you will explore along the coast and inside several caves of Benagil.
This 2-hour guided tour will not only show to you these breathtaking caves, but also explain their formation, surrounding nature, and natural life. Begin at Benagil beach, from where you will be run through an introduction on kayaking, and the safe management of your kayak once inside the caves.
Afterwards, kayak to the Golden Beach of Marinha. On the way, you will enter into several small and big caves. On the return journey, take a 20-minute stop at the beach inside the Benagil Cave for some unforgettable pictures.

Day 7: The Algarve
After breakfast you will be collected from your local hotel your guided jeep safari will take you up hills and down valleys, crossing rural roads dotted with various fruit plantations such as orange and lemon trees and almond and fig trees. You will pass through picturesque little white villages to some of the most fascinating places in the Algarve.
You will be able to visit tiny whitewashed villages, where time seems to have stood still and see some ancient customs and traditions such as visiting one of the last farmers using an old distillery. You may even spot a wild boar or fox.
Travelling onto Alte, one of the most typical Algarvian villages, you can stop for a refreshing swim at a natural spring or take a relaxing walk alongside the scenic landscapes. At the highest peak here, near the old windmills, is a breath-taking 180-degree view of the Algarvian mountains. You will have some time to soak up these stunning views before your return journey.

Day 8: Depart Faro
Leaving your hotel in The Algarve you will be transferred to Faro airport for your return flight home.
