Tour Plan

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival

Arrival Siem Reap international airport, after formalization of immigration you’ll meet with guide and driver then transfer to your hotel check in follow by free time. In the evening embark on a walking tour introducing Siem Reap city, the walk takes you to central park, a famous shrine of Preah Angchek Angchorm consider as a holly place by local people, while here you’ll spot out thousands of flying foxes the tree branches, a colorful royal residence and continue walk downstream of Siem Reap River embrace the streetlight as well as exploring around Wat Damnak pagoda. Welcome dinner at SPOONS Restaurant, it is the social enterprise and 100% of the profit from the operation goes towards the programs and students.

Day 2: Discover Angkor Wat and countrysides of Siem Riep

 

In the morning, set off on an extraordinary cycling adventure—one of the most spectacular in the world! Pedal through the awe-inspiring ancient ruins of Angkor Wat and immerse yourself in the stunning Cambodian countryside. Along the way, you’ll encounter majestic temples, lush forests, and charming traditional villages. Angkor Wat, a 12th-century temple complex near Siem Reap, Cambodia, awaits your exploration. Covering a vast area of approximately 400 acres, it stands as the largest religious structure globally and represents the pinnacle of Khmer architecture. The five central towers symbolize the peaks of Mount Meru, the mythical dwelling place of gods in Hindu mythology. As you cycle, take in the intricate bas-relief sculptures on the temple walls, depicting Hindu deities and ancient Khmer scenes. But that’s not all! Your journey also leads you through the Cambodian countryside, where picturesque villages dot the landscape. Imagine green paddy fields, lotus flower blooms, and farmers toiling in the plains. Capture the essence of rural life through your lens, from kids with lotus flowers to families returning from harvesting. And don’t miss the beautiful sunsets that grace this serene setting. Day 3: Adventure at Kbal Spean, and Khmer Culinary Tour

In the morning, depart hotel with private transfer to Kbal Spean and begins hike through dense forests to the waterfall that flows through during the raining season and the early dry season. Here you’ll scroll through a riverbed of 1000 linga carvings and admiring beautiful waterfall while soaking in a breathtaking atmosphere connecting with nature of surrounding before hike back downhill. On the way back stop to explore the delightful temple of Banteay Srey known as a pinkish sandstone, home to some of the most exquisite stone carvings in the complex. In the evening, head to the outskirts of town to start your culinary journey exploring traditional Khmer cuisine. Sample authentic Khmer cakes, grilled quail eggs, Khmer noodles, fried crickets, fried tarantulas, and more. Also try some barbecued meats and fresh tropical fruits. Wash it all down with an ice-cold beer or two. Evening hop on a tuk-tuk street eat, begin at 60 streets a famous night market for local, walking see food stores, cloths and you’ll tasting foods. Next, continue to others and make a few stops at local shops including noodle, grill beef, and finish at riverside bar to grab one last drink for the road.

Day 4: Siem Reap Full Day Tour

After breakfast, set off from your hotel and transfer approximately 35km from Siem Reap. On arrival we will begin another incredible walk. The journey passes through local villages, an ancient lost temple, beautiful rice paddies, a colorful pagoda, and farmlands. This walking tour begins with a visit to a family that makes bamboo sticky rice called “Kralan,” a delicious delicacy in Cambodia. Next, we will explore the nearby ancient lost temple Prasat Kamrieng sited in the middle of paddy fields surrounded by palm trees, before we reach a colourful monastery (Wat Kchas). Once at Kok Sangke village we will experience an array of village activities, including stopping by a blacksmith family for a quick demonstration - the skill has been passed down three generations! Blacksmithing is a vitally important role in the community helping farmers to produce and maintain the tools they need to work the land. We may also see families making rice wine, raising pigs, chickens, ducks and vegetables, craft weaving, creating palm sugar (when in season), and rice farming. After enjoying time at the community, lunch is prepared by a women’s association, while we sit and take a moment to admire the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding paddy fields, lake, and picturesque palm trees, slowly swaying in the wind. After lunch, we’ll visit Wat Lorm Proleung, an ancient pagoda. Here, you will be welcomed by a group of local musicians performing a traditional Chhai Yam dance. At the pagoda, we will finish our time at the community by receiving a blessing from a monk, creating lifelong memories. We end our day at Kampong Khleang, a village built on stilts on Tonle Sap Lake. Home to approximately 10,000 people, Kampong Khleang’s residents’ main income comes from fishing. Depending on the time and season you visit Kampong Khleang, you will see a very different landscape, as the lake is tidal.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Battambang

In the morning, after breakfast at hotel, begins private transfer to Battambang 178km/ 3h Lunch break at Jaan Bai Restaurant, a social enterprise business support youth education. In the afternoon, begin cycle to visit Phnom Banan, an 11th century temple built by King Jarvarman VII. Located on top of a 400m hill, the temple has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Phnom Sampov mountain is the next destination – a natural rock formation consisting of a series of caves. This was a former stronghold of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the caves were used as “killing caves”; many of the victims’ skeletons are still preserved there. watch sunset while witnessing the spectacle of bats pouring from a cave high up on the north side of the cliff face with cool beer. transfer back to Battambang.

Day 6: Battambang - Phnom Penh

Today will start off a countryside discovery cycling tour with Soksabike. With this cycling tour, we’ll discover the various villages and livelihoods of Battambang, most of which are food related, so be prepared to eat! This tour provides great insight into how the locals live and get by on a day-to-day basis. Visit ancient houses, experience bamboo trains, followed by Phsar Prahok a famous fermented fish market and you’ll get to see the production of rice wine, dried bananas chips, rice paper and end bike ride at Romcheck 5 art galleries. After lunch, depart by private transfer to Phnom Penh city 290Km distance approximately 4hours drive.

Day 7: Full-Day Phnom Penh City Tour

In the morning, begins a guide tour visiting all the highlights of this bustling, vibrant city, including the fascinating Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. You can climb the hill to Wat Phnom, the city’s main temple, where you’ll find throngs of worshippers and troops of monkeys. In the afternoon, you can visit the sobering and poignant Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, killing field which documents the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge against the Cambodian people. Then you can shop ‘til you drop for just about anything in the busy, colorful stalls of the vast Central Market.

Day 8: Private Tuk Tuk Tour of Mekong Island

After breakfast, embark on a private and Tuk Tuk ride discovery of Mekong Island, which is known as silk island, its famous of Silk Weaving. You’ll also take a local ferry to cross Mighty Mekong. The ride will take you to the rural community of Koh Oknha Tey and Silk Island passing through a greenery landscape, farmlands, and stop by local family for silk weaving demonstration and along the way offers a picturesque as well as the great opportunity to discover the way of life for local people before heading back to the ferry return to Phnom Penh. Enjoy lunch break at local restaurants. In the evening transfer to ST 63 BASSAK lance restaurant, offers a delightful Evening Vibe. Day 9: Phnom Penh - Kampot

In the morning, embark on a train journey and ride it takes approximately 3hours, enjoy the scenic landscapes and local villages along the way. Kampot is a colonial town located south of Cambodia. It's known as the world’s best quality for its pepper plantations and salt fields. The city stretches both sides of peaceful Kampot river. On arrival meet back your guide at the station transfer to have lunch at La Plantation, you’ll spend time exploring the pepper farm and, on the way, back visit salt farms (it is seasonal). In the evening begins a walking tour to see the best part of colonial buildings along the riverside, sip a glass of cocktail at an old cinema before heading for dinner at your own expense at a local restaurant.

Day 10: Full-Day Tour in Kampot

Rise early and transfer by Tuk Tuk to the local morning fish market in Kampot to see the local’s fishermen exchange their products. On your journey to the market along the Kampot River, absorb in the peaceful rumblings of this little town. Look out for locals starting their daily activities or morning exercises. Upon arrival at the fish market, begin your tour with a walk to observe the fishing boars moving up and down the river. Look out for vendors filling the baskets of locals with fish before the locals stack their motorbikes with their fish. Next, transfer to a local café along the Kampot River where you will enjoy delicious local coffee. After breakfast, embark on a fascinating Tuk Tuk tour to discover the Trey Koh Fish Island community, a rural gem near Kampot town. Experience the local way of life, observing agriculture, farming, and fishing activities. Visit families making dry shrimp, producing palm sugar, and witnessing the salt fields. Take a coffee or tea break at the Fish Island Community Arts Centre, supporting local kids' education in arts and English. Continue your Tuk Tuk ride to Wat Traeuy Kaoh for the final stop, where you'll learn about Buddhist monkhood and the principles of Buddhist philosophy. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the cool afternoon guide by local expert experience Kayaking along Kampot river, this was very nice thing to do. Beautiful trip and the guide will take care of the less experienced. The water was totally calm, and it was a nice, chilly way to spend an afternoon.

Day 11: Kampot to Cardamom Mountain

Today after breakfast, depart by private transfer from Kampot to Cardamom Mountain a wild region of Southeast Asia. The journey distance of 190km takes approximately 4 hours to drive. Upon arrival at Chi Phat Eco-Based Community, sit and enjoy your delicious lunch cooked by local people in the area before settling into your rooms, a basic room with fan only (no A/C available). This afternoon is free to relax at your resort OR enjoy self-kayaking on Chi Phat River. Late afternoon today, take a short transfer to Bald Mountain where you will see the sunset over beautiful landscape. Return to your resort where your dinner will be served. Phnom Penh must be nighttime.

Day 12: Explore Chi Phat Community

After a simple breakfast, you meet local rangers in the area who will lead and begin your adventure experience by trekking to see the ancient jars that use to store cremation ashes by the people living there back-in 15th century (seasonal). Hear the story and feel free to ask any questions.

*Note: This is an easy, low-altitude trek that does not require any physical condition. However, we recommend a good physical condition.

Trek back and take a short transfer to Ou Mlou Waterfall where you will enjoy swimming in the cold water before stopping for lunch on the way back. This afternoon is free to relax at your resort OR enjoy self-kayaking on Chi Phat River OR do cycling around the village. Evening, enjoy a dinner at your resort and overnight.

Day 13: Phnom Penh Departure

Today is the time to say goodbye. Depart Chi Pat Eco-based community to Phnom Penh international airport for your departure home.
