Itinerary

You will be picked up early from your hotel in Hanoi and start the 2-hour journey to the nature reserve and wetlands of Van Long. En route, we’ll stop off at the beautiful Hoa Lu ancient village surrounded by stunning rice paddies and a mountainous backdrop.

We’ll visit the Dinh temple, a memoir to the first Emperor of the Dinh Dynasty and then after lunch head to our hotel in Van Long. In the afternoon we’ll take a cycle around the village followed by dinner, where we’ll be joined by a Langur expert.

The next morning we’ll head off early when we’ll have the best chance to view the real locals, the Delacour Langur, an endangered monkey endemic to Vietnam. We’ll take a boat along the wetlands and our guide will provide the best chance to spot these gorgeous creatures whilst they take breakfast and drink water by the lagoons.

After brunch, we’ll head back to the city of Hanoi.
