DAY 1: HANOI - NINH BINH

We'll set off on a captivating trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh with your driver guide, exploring ancient citadels, serene pagodas, and scenic waterways, before spending the night in this beautiful region.

Your journey begins with a visit to the historic Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, the former capital of Vietnam, where you'll delve into its rich history. Next, we'll visit the tranquil Bich Dong Pagoda, nestled among lush greenery and limestone mountains, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Following this, enjoy a scenic boat ride at Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land," where you'll glide through picturesque landscapes of karst formations and rice paddies. Conclude the day by arriving in Ninh Binh, where you'll spend the night.

DAY 2: NINH BINH - VINH

Drive to Phat Diem Church in the morning, then head south to Kim Lien, the hometown and birthplace of Ho Chi Minh.

Begin your day with a visit to the magnificent Phat Diem Church, known for its unique blend of Vietnamese and European architectural styles it will offer insight into Vietnamese religious history and heritage. Afterward, continue south to Kim Lien, the birthplace of Ho Chi Minh. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore his former residence, a simple thatched house that reflects his modest upbringing. Visit the Kim Lien Museum, which houses artifacts and documents related to Ho Chi Minh's life gaining insights into the early life and humble beginnings of Vietnam's revered leader. This journey offers a blend of cultural, historical, and architectural experiences, providing a deeper understanding of the country's rich heritage.

DAY 3: VINH - DONG HOI

Today we make for Phong Nha, stopping at the tomb of a beloved general, driving down the Ngang pass and exploring Vietnam's incredible and vast caves.

On our drive today we will first pause at a historical gate built during the Nguyen Dynasty that offers a glimpse into Vietnam's past. Next, visit Mộ Tướng Giáp, the revered tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a significant figure in Vietnamese history, where your driver and guide will be able to share details of the man and why he is so revered by the locals. Continue your journey down the picturesque Ngang Pass, known for its breathtaking views of the mountains and coastline. Upon reaching Phong Nha, embark on an exploration of Paradise Cave, one of the longest dry caves in Asia, featuring magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. Afterwards, visit Phong Nha Cave, renowned for its impressive underground river.. Enjoy a serene boat ride on the Son River, gliding through the cave's majestic formations.

DAY 4: PHONG NHA - FREE DAY

FULL-DAY THE ELEPHANT CAVE & MADA VALLEY TREK

Join us in an unforgettable 9km trek through the breathtaking landscapes, ancient caves, and serene lakes that make up our Adventure Trek in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park - which was recognized as a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO.

After a morning briefing begin your journey by exploring the ancient mysteries of Elephant Cave, marveling at its enduring formations.  Elephant Cave was once used by Vietnamese soldiers as a shelter during war. There is not only vegetation growing inside the cave floor but also remnants such as gun shrapnel, bomb casings, and bullets. Trek through the picturesque Ma Da Valley, surrounded by majestic high limestone mountains and lush green trees. Here you can also swim in the amazingly blue water of crystal Ma Da Lake. Conclude your trek at Tra Ang Cave to discover the hidden wonders within its chambers full of nature's artwork. Tra Ang Cave has a special system of green underground rivers. When visiting this spot, you can see a lot of gorgeous pristine stalactites with different shapes and stunning colours.

DAY 5: PHONG NHA - HUE

Today we drive to the former seat of the Nguyen Dynasty. On our way, we'll stop at a plethora of fascinating locations from the DMZ to the Vinh Moc Tunnels.

Begin your journey, pausing first at the historic Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a significant site from the War. Explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels and Museum, where you can delve into the underground network that sheltered local villagers during this time. Next, visit the Hien Luong Bridge, which once marked the divide between North and South Vietnam. Continue to the fort at Quang Tri, before heading towards Hue. Just outside the city, stop at a local bamboo cooperative to learn about traditional bamboo crafts and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir. This route offers a blend of historical exploration and cultural experiences, culminating in your arrival in the historic city of Hue.

DAY 6 (OPTIONAL) : HUE – HOI AN

Drive from Hue to Hoi An, passing by Lang Co Lagoon, navigating the scenic Hai Van Pass, and stopping at the Linh Ung statue and Marble Mountain before arriving in UNESCO-listed Hoi An.

Begin your journey with a drive from Hue down the breathtaking Hai Van Pass, known for its dramatic coastal views and winding mountain road. Pause at the Linh Ung Pagoda to marvel at the towering statue, which offers a stunning panorama of the sea and surrounding area. Next, visit the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills featuring caves, and pagodas. Our final stop of the day is the historic town of Hoi An, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved ancient architecture and vibrant cultural heritage.
