DAY 1: HANOI - HA GIANG

Today marks the beginning of an incredible adventure around Ha Giang, where you'll traverse breathtaking mountain passes, explore traditional villages, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of northern Vietnam. Your driver and guide will pick you up in Hanoi to begin the journey to Ha Giang. Upon arrival, the excursion truly begins as we delve into picturesque landscapes. First, we tackle the Bac Sum Pass, winding our way into the mountains. Soon, we'll reach the Heaven's Gate viewpoint in Quan Ba, offering a glimpse of the stunning views to come. Continuing to the charming village of Nam Dam, nestled in the shadows of the surrounding peaks, we stop at another viewpoint to admire the 'fairy mountains.' Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a local homestay in Quan Ba, where you'll learn about the local ethnic groups of the region. Hotel: Homestay Dao Lodge – Superior Double or similar

DAY 2: QUAN BA - DONG VAN

Today, we journey from Quan Ba to the Dong Van Plateau. Our route takes us through Yen Minh and we'll navigate the thrilling '9 turn pass.' Along the way, we'll visit the historic Hmong Vuong 'King' Palace, an architectural marvel that once served as the residence of the Hmong king where our driver guide will shed some light on this fascinating palace, with its intricate design and rich history. Next, we'll head to the iconic Lung Cu Flagpole, often referred to as the northernmost point of Vietnam. Standing tall, the flagpole symbolizes national pride and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and neighbouring China. We'll conclude our day in the town of Dong Van, with an optional walk to the Don Cao Fortress ruins to enjoy the sunset over the valley. DAY 3: DONG VAN - MEO VAC

Today, we take on some of the most spectacular scenery as we drive along the Ma Pi Leng Pass en route to Meo Vac. This journey offers multiple viewing points with incredible views of the Tu San Gorge, one of the deepest canyons in Southeast Asia. We will then enjoy a boat trip through the Tu San Gorge on the Nho Que River, experiencing the stunning landscape from the water. Afterwards, we head to our overnight stop in Meo Vac, where a local guide will lead us on a scenic walk through the area, allowing us to further appreciate the natural beauty and local culture. DAY 4: MEO VAC - QUAN BA

Today, we enjoy the final full day of stunning landscapes that Ha Giang has to offer. Our journey takes us through Mau Due and the scenic Lung Phin viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. We will visit the ruins of the old French fortress at Di tích đồn Pháp, where you'll be treated to panoramic valley views. Continuing to Quan Ba, enjoying the local life playing out amid the countryside. DAY 5: QUAN BA - HA NOI

Today, we bid farewell to the stunning landscapes of Ha Giang as we embark on our return drive to the buzzing metropolis of Hanoi.
