Vivu Journeys Vietnam is proud to share that we have achieved the Travelife Partner Award, recognizing our commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism.

1. Celebrating Our Travelife Partner Award

1.1. Vivu Journeys – Vietnam Award and Commitment

Vivu Journeys Vietnam has officially achieved the Travelife Partner Award, marking a major milestone in our long-term commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The Travelife Partner award is a recognition of our commitment towards social and environmental sustainability. We comply with more than 100 criteria related to sustainability management, office operations, working with suppliers, and customer communication. We are working towards further improvements, aiming to eventually reach the Travelife Certified stage.

The Travelife Partner standard is based on ISO 26000 corporate responsibility guidelines, covering respect for the environment, biodiversity, human rights, and fair working conditions.

It is important to clarify that this is the Travelife Partner Award – the second level of the Travelife program (Engaged – Partner – Certified). Vivu Journeys Vietnam is now working actively toward the highest level – Travelife Certified.

As part of our ongoing commitment, Vivu Journeys Vietnam implements sustainable practices across all operations, including responsible supplier engagement, eco-friendly office management, and transparent traveler communication.

1.2. Recognition and Authority

Sustainability leaders in the travel sector have recognized our efforts. Mr. Naut Kusters, Manager of Travelife for Tour Operators, said:

Travelife is a leading international sustainability certification for the travel sector, supported by over 35 national travel associations, including ABTA (UK), ANVR (Netherlands), PATA (Asia), FTT (South Africa), SMAL (Finland), UHPA (Croatia), JARTA (Japan), APAVT (Portugal), and more.

2. What is Travelife Partner Award?

Founded in 2007, the Travelife Sustainability System helps travel companies promote responsible tourism. It enables tour operators and travel agents to make a positive impact on destinations by influencing suppliers, travelers, and local communities.

The Travelife Partner award is an internationally recognized recognition for tour operators and travel agencies committed to sustainable tourism.

The Travelife program has three stages for tour operators and travel agents:

(1) Travelife Engaged

(2) Travelife Partner

(3) Travelife Certified

The program helps companies improve their social, environmental, and ethical practices. The Partner award highlights a company’s dedication to responsible tourism and ongoing sustainability improvements.

3. Scope of the Award and Future Goals

The award is valid for two years. During this time, we will continue improving our sustainability standards, and before it expires, the Partner report can be renewed or upgraded. Our ultimate goal is to reach the Travelife Certified level, the highest stage in the Travelife program, which involves meeting additional requirements and completing an on-site audit.

Alternatively, we may work towards meeting the Travelife Certified criteria at a later stage if we do not pursue a formal on-site certification immediately.

This roadmap ensures that Vivu Journeys Vietnam not only maintains its current achievements but also moves forward to even higher standards of responsible tourism, benefiting our travelers, local communities, and partners alike.
