Itinerary

Head to Bangkok’s Chinatown and discover why the city is one of the best food destinations in the world! Begin with a platter of fresh fruits to cleanse your palate, including: mango, mangosteen, rambutan and guava. Next, enjoy some satay pork, a dish originally from Indonesia which as now become a well-loved dish across south east Asia. As we are in Chinatown, why not next try some mouth-watering crab and prawn dumplings before tasting the Thai national dish: chicken pad thai, a noodle dish served with peanuts, beansprouts and lime for further taste. Time to refresh with a trio of fruit juice tasters, including: sweet orange, persimmon and pomegranate, each more delicious than the next. Next, enjoy a taster of Pad See Ew, a flat-noodle dish served with fried pork, soy sauce and greens, perfectly accompanied by a local Chang beer! End your food tasting in Chinatown with one of the most-loved sweets, Mango sticky rice!
Next, we will transfer to Pak Klong Talat, the primary flower market in Bangkok. The market is an abundance of colours and activity and is open 24 hours a day. The flowers are both sold to wholesalers as well as to the local public. Many of the flowers are purchased by street hawkers who make the flowers in to garlands and sell them as items of good luck or as offerings. The market was previously a floating fish market but was converted into a flower market which it has been for over 60 years.
End your tour by heading to Sala Rattanakosin rooftop bar, located along the Chao Phraya River, the main waterway of Bangkok. Here, enjoy unbeatable views across the Chao Phraya River as boats slowly glide down its waters in the shadow of Wat Arun, one of Thailand’s most recognisable Buddhist temples. Here, you will enjoy a cocktail as you while away the evening with some of the best views in the city.
Notes:
Chinatown is not fully operational on Mondays
There are many steps to get to the rooftop bar at Sala Rattanakosin. If the group is not physically capable, we will switch to an alternative rooftop bar.
