Introducing Local Legends, Jamie and Steph
Their story
For Jamie and Steph, a couple based in Sussex, their story began from opposite corners of the world, but with a shared epiphany. A desire to cast off the mundane and comfortable lifestyle that left them both feeling unsettled. The opportunity to shake things up and create some exciting chaos in their lives was a strong draw and saw them abandon all they had known to come together and develop wine and food-based tours from the beautiful backdrop of the Sussex countryside.
The eureka moment happened one sunny summer afternoon sipping a pint in an English pub. It was then and there the dream was born, to build the greatest wine and food tours in England and show off what they loved about their corner of the world!
Fast forward some time and now Jamie and Steph run Vine and Country, a bespoke food and wine specialist touring company. They personally curate each experience for their guests, taking care of every detail. Providing privately guided explorations of a selection of vineyards across the counties and wrapping those experiences around a delicious long lunch served by private chefs at handpicked vineyards. They promise to share with you the vineyard trail less trodden and introduce you to family-run wine producers where the wines are their lifeblood, and the people are full of character.
