Explore one of England’s most beautiful spots – the Cotswolds!

Tour the quintessential English Cotswold towns home to honey-pot houses and cobbled streets; discover the Georgian spa town of Cheltenham, enjoy a photography lesson to capture the Cotswolds essence and learn about William the Conqueror at Warwick Castle.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cotswolds

Make your own way to your hotel in Cheltenham. 

Suggested Overnight Hotel: Jury’s Inn, Cheltenham

Day 2: Cotswolds

Enjoy a full-day coach tour to the Cotswolds. Begin with a visit to Bourton-on-the-water, one of the Cotswolds’ most famous and picturesque towns. We will arrive early to beat the crowds and give the best opportunities to take pictures of the tranquil waterways and small bridges which sit over them.

Next, head to the lesser-known Slaughters (Upper and Lower Slaughter) home to a beautiful watermill and picturesque Cotswold scenery. Head to the Elements Brewery where you will enjoy a tour of this microbrewery with the owner before having a taste of his brew, including a pint of your favourite! Next, enjoy a delicious BBQ Buffet at the Upton Smokery next door to Elements Brewery.

Continue your touring at Bibury known for its Arlington row of thatched cottages. End your tour in the town of Burford, gateway to the Cotswolds, and home to a number of traditional shops and pubs. Return by coach back to Cheltenham.

Day 3: Cotswolds

This morning, enjoy a light guided walk around the town of Cheltenham to admire the city’s beautiful Georgian architecture. Next, return to the Cotswolds where you will enjoy a half-day guided photography tour of a different region of the Cotswolds with your expert photographer guide.

Day 4: Cotswolds

This morning, transfer to Warwick where you will visit Warwick Castle, a medieval castle, originally built by William the Conqueror. The castle was refortified in the 14th century and is now one of the most recognisable examples of military architecture of the time. Enjoy a visit to the castle and its grounds before returning to Cheltenham. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 5: Depart Cotswolds

Continue your onward journey independently.
