Travelife for Accommodation is an international sustainability certification body that certifies hotels of all sizes around the world. Travelife utilizes a comprehensive and robust set of requirements. Additionally, Travelife’s criteria are recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), which developed global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism. Through an independent Assurance Panel, GSTC ensures that recognized standards for certification programs are credible, transparent, impartial and comply with GSTC criteria for sustainable tourism.
To achieve Travelife Gold Certification, TMG’s hotels have met over 140 requirements that encompass efficient environmental management, fair labor practices, support for the local community, child safeguarding and continuous improvement based on guest feedback. TMG will continue to work with Travelife to implement and improve its sustainability best practices to recertify with even more requirements in two years.
